HMIS Data Migration Project

A central component of Worcester County new closed referral / triage system is the integration of service delivery across distinct programs.  In order to achieve a tight integration in HMIS, UPTHOUGHT worked with Worcester County HMIS  to migrate tens of thousands of records into a single, shared HMIS implementation.

On Wednesday we put the finishing touches on the data migration project, which was the larged in 6 year history of Worcester County HMIS.

The Point in Time Count Gets a Makeover

To coincide with the Annual Point in Time Count (January 27), UPTHOUGHT launched a new tool for Worcester County HMIS which enables them to execute the Point in Time Survey in a fraction of the time.

No more paper surveys, snail mail, fax, or trying to track down who has responded and who has not...  It's all consolidated in a single, easy to use, online Point in Time Count tool!

Instead of manually collecting survey data from over 100 programs in Worcester County, the new tool enables Worcester County HMIS staff to send automatic survey requests via email to the appropriate program contacts at each agency.  Those contacts then follow a link to a unique survey specific to their program.  With the click of a button they are able to submit their completed survey for review.

This will also be a critical feature enabling HMIS staff to complete spot surveys throughout the year to use as an audit point against HMIS data.

Very cool!
